Referral widget and social connection health

The widget now supports a full referral experience, and the Social Integrations panel flags broken platform tokens so admins can reconnect them on the spot.

01 ·A referral experience inside the widget

The widget builder now includes Referral as a widget type. Once selected, the Display section controls which parts of the referral experience appear: Referral Activities, Referral Programs, and Referral Progress each have their own toggle. Unchecking a section hides it from the widget and collapses its configuration panel, so only the controls relevant to what you are showing stay visible. The program picker only lists active programs, so disabled programs do not appear as options.

Referral Progress has two views, Overview and Progress. When only one of those views is active, the toggle tab between them disappears, so the widget does not show a control that leads nowhere.

Why it matters

Referral acquisition depends on making the share action easy to find. Surfacing the referral experience directly in the widget puts it in front of traders while they are already active, without requiring a separate page visit. Brokers who run referral programs can now configure exactly which parts of the referral flow appear and which stay hidden.

02 ·See and fix broken social platform connections

The Settings panel for Social Integrations now shows a warning state on any platform card whose connection has lapsed. A Reconnect button appears on that card and starts the reconnection flow for that platform immediately. Hovering the warning shows the specific reason the connection failed, so you can tell at a glance whether the linked account changed its sign-in details, the access was revoked, or something else went wrong. Once reconnected, the card returns to its normal state.

Why it matters

Social quests stop rewarding traders the moment a platform token expires, and the failure is invisible unless an admin happens to check. This banner surfaces the problem as soon as it occurs and gives admins a direct path to reconnect, so social reward activity stays running without a support ticket to diagnose the outage.
