Connect social accounts, bulk-update tags, and name your log entries
Members can connect their social accounts through the widgets, bulk updates gain a tag operator, and manual and bulk changes can carry a custom name in the log.
01 ·Connect social accounts from the widgets
Members can now connect their social accounts, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn, directly through the social widgets. Once connected, their activity on those platforms can be tracked and verified from inside the community.
Social tasks only work as a loyalty mechanic if a trader can link the account in the first place. Bringing the connection into the widget means a broker can run social quests and verification where traders already are, without sending them elsewhere to set it up.
02 ·A tag operator for bulk updates
Bulk member updates by CSV now take a tag operator column. A broker chooses how the tags in the file are applied, overwrite, add, or subtract, and the matching ignores case, so a single upload can tidy up or extend tags across many members at once. Newly created tags also now show in the bulk-update preview.
Tags are how a broker segments their book, and a segment is only useful if it is easy to maintain. Choosing whether an upload replaces or extends the existing tags lets a broker keep those segments accurate without editing members one at a time.
03 ·Name your log entries
Manual and bulk changes can now carry a name in the log. When a broker adjusts a member's points from the member list, they can enter a reason that appears as the action in the activity log in place of the default label. A bulk update, whether run from the member list or through the API, can carry its own name the same way, and currency names in the log follow the names set in the community's settings.
An activity log full of generic entries is hard to audit later. Letting a broker name why a change was made, and which run it belonged to, turns the log into a record they can actually trace back through.
A row in the API log now opens its detail panel from anywhere on the row, and a bulk API entry opens its own page showing totals, successes, and failures.
