Configure your own store order statuses
Store settings now let admins build custom order statuses with names and colours, set per-category defaults, and control coin refunds on refunded orders.
01 ·Set up your own order statuses in store settings
Store settings now include a status configuration section. Four fixed stage categories cover every order: New purchases, In progress, Completed, and Refunded. Within each category, admins can add custom statuses, each with its own name and colour, and a name has to be unique across all categories. Each category starts with one default status named after the category, and the delete option is disabled when only one status remains. Deleting a status that is in use prompts the admin to pick a replacement first. If the status being removed is the category's default, the replacement you pick takes over as the new default, so the category always has one.
Admin teams handling orders across several fulfilment stages can use their own vocabulary in the store, so the status label a trader sees in their purchase history reflects where the order actually stands.
02 ·Default purchase status per category and per product
Each product category has a Default Purchase Status setting whose dropdown lists every configured status; the one you pick becomes the starting status for new purchases in that category. At the product level, a Product Purchase Status toggle is off by default, so a product follows its category. Turning it on shows the same dropdown and lets you set a different starting status for that one product, overriding the category.
A store with both digital vouchers and physical goods can route them to different starting statuses at checkout. The per-product toggle means you do not have to restructure the catalogue just to give one product a different default.
03 ·Coin refund when an order moves to a Refunded status
When an admin changes an order in Order History to any status in the Refunded category, the platform asks whether to refund the coin cost. Selecting yes adds the product's coin cost back to the trader's balance and writes an entry to the Gamification Log, with Refund product as the action name and the order ID and product name as the details. Selecting no changes the status without touching the balance.
A cancelled or rejected redemption can be reversed in one step from Order History. The Gamification Log ties each refund to a specific order, so coin balances and fulfilment records stay in line without a separate correction step.
