Default values for custom fields
Numerical and boolean custom fields now take a default value, so workflow, milestone, and referral conditions evaluate correctly from the start.
01 ·Give a custom field a default value
Numerical and boolean custom fields can now carry a default value, set when the field is created and editable later. A number field defaults to 0 and a true or false field to False, and changing the default applies it to every trader whose field has never been set. The default shows in the member list and feeds into automation: a workflow, milestone, or referral condition that reads the field now has a real value to compare against from the start, where an unset field used to read as empty and quietly skip the rule.
Automations only fire when the data they read exists. Giving a field a starting value means a trader counts toward a milestone or a referral reward from day one, so the rules a broker sets up behave the way they expect on every account.
A trader's leaderboard position now updates in real time when a custom field is changed through an automated workflow, without a page refresh.
