A redesigned colour editor, and dark and light themes for widgets
Edit your community's colours with a live preview and custom themes, and give widgets their own dark and light theme that can follow the community colours.
01 ·A live colour editor with custom themes
The appearance settings have a rebuilt colour editor. A broker edits eight colour roles, accent, text, background, divider, label, shadow, and the scroll thumb and track, with a live preview of the home or activity page updating as each one changes. A custom theme can start from a default theme, which clones it, or from scratch, and themes are named, renameable, and deletable, with undo and reset controls while a custom theme is active. Deleting a custom theme falls back to the default it came from.
The portal a broker hands their traders should look like the broker's own brand, not a stock template. A live editor with saved themes lets a broker match their colours and see the result before anyone else does.
02 ·Dark and light themes for widgets
Widgets now hold separate colour values for dark and light mode, including the scroll thumb and track, and a checkbox lets a widget inherit its colours straight from the community theme. A broker setting up a widget can style each mode on its own rather than settling for one look across both.
