🏆 Community Leaderboards

Driving Friendly Competition Among Members

Leaderboards rank members based on their activity within the community. They’re like scoreboards, showing the top performers and giving everyone a quick view of their relative standing.

Leaderboards are one way your members get their payoff from working hard to earn XPs and Coins! Public leaderboards drive friendly competition, encourage more participation, and help recognize active members, making them feel valued.
On Returning.AI’s default leaderboards, members are ranked according to XP gained within the community. This is also where each member’s current level, tier, and badges are publically displayed.

Using Leaderboards to Run Community Competitions

Now, here’s where we spice things up a bit; with Custom Leaderboards.

Custom Leaderboards exist to help you get more out of your community. Unlike other third-party platforms, Returning.AI gives you a high level of control over every aspect of gamification, even your leaderboards.

Custom Leaderboards allow you to create special leaderboards that rank members based on metrics of your choice. They can be set to run only for specific durations, and viewing permissions for each of your leaderboards can also be adjusted individually.

All of this combined together, creates an avenue for you to run different competitions within your community. Here’s what that could look like!

  • Metric: Community referrals, Goal: Community growth
  • Metric: XP, Goal: Increase community engagement
  • Metric: Messages, Goal: Get your community talking
  • Metric: Referrals, Goal: Expedite community growth
